The manual removal of films or fabrics from cables, coaxial and high-voltage cables or coatings from cables is laborious and time-consuming. During cable processing, the cable sheath must first be completely stripped, which can be undesirable for subsequent processes. The new BERI.MACH.MAGIC machine features the BERI.MOD.MAGIC thermal module for generating heat using an alternating electromagnetic field.

The inductive heating of metallic components in cables, e.g. in the shielding, pre-damages adjacent thermoplastic layers. This simplifies the precise stripping of foils or fabrics or other layered materials.

The special feature is that this processing principle also works with non-stripped cables.
